What are the dates for the two components of the programs?

First Component

Spring 2010 Session (Application deadline Friday, February 19, 2010)
February 27, 2010 through May 8, 2010.

The first component costs $795 and payment is due on or before the Orientation meeting.

The fall session traditionally begins in early October. There are no summer sessions of TMI Online.

MANDATORY ORIENTATION:
February 27, 2010 in Oxford, MS at the UM Law School.

More details will be available upon acceptance into the program.

Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. Orientation will begin promptly at 9 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. Lunch will be provided.

MANDATORY LIVE SEMINAR:
April 17, 2010 in Jackson, MS at the UM Medical Center Union. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. The seminar will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided.

Second Component

Spring 2010 Session
February 6, 2010 through June 5, 2010.

The second component costs $1395 and payment is broken into 5 payments. The first payment of $395 is due two weeks before the course begins.

MANDATORY LIVE SEMINARS:
February 27, 2010 in Oxford, MS @ the UM Law School.
March 27, 2010 in Jackson, MS @ the UM Medical Center Union.

Only students who have successfully completed the first component will be offered the opportunity to enroll in the second component of the Teach Mississippi Institute.

The fall session traditionally begins in August. There are no summer sessions of TMI Online.
